Joint Operating Body (JOB) Pertamina - Petrochina East Java (PPEJV) began to test production of oil wells in the village 10 Sukowati NGampel, District Cotton, Bojonegoro, East Java today.
Admin Field Superintendent (FAST) Joint Operating Body (JOB) Pertamina - Petrochina East Java (PPEJV) Rizani Achmad, said preparations for the production test was conducted, including notice to the communities around the field Sukowati 10 oil wells, and various related parties .
Before this, oil well drilling conducted 10 Sukowati depth reaches 7200 feet. However, suction in the production testing will be conducted at a depth of about 6500 feet. The entire toxic gas sensors, gas monitors and officials in some locations are alerted.
He explained, during production testing, if anything happens unexpectedly, the handling will be done according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
"All the technical preparation of production testing is not a problem," he said, as quoted Antaranews.com, Tuesday (10/3/2009).
He is optimistic Sukowati 10 oil wells capable of producing oil ranges up to 2000 barrels per day 2500. Number of production, not much different from the ability of the average production of oil wells other Sukowati, starting 1-8 Sukowati oil wells.
According to him, with additional production from oil wells Sukowati 10, total production of oil wells in Bojonegoro Sukowati both in pad A Campurejo Village, Sub City, also on the pad B in the Village Ngampel, District Cotton, reaching 27,500 barrels per day.
"After this we continue drilling the well Sukowati 11, also in the Village Ngampel," he said.
Alluding Sukowati 9 oil wells, he said, because the wells could not produce, further work will be done by using equipment walks over rig, to remove the oil.
